Nannie fell

I just got off the phone with Mom and she is headed off to the hospital because early this morning Nannie fell and broke her hip. Auntie Colleen called 911 and the ambulance came and took her to the hospital. She was also complaining of head and neck pain so for now they have her neck in one of those donut things and are waiting on results of a CAT scan to see what is going on. They couldn't find anything wrong with her head or neck on thier initial examination so hopefully it isn't anything serious.

I will put up more updates as I find them out or Mom might put something up later since she will know more.

UPDATE: 6:15pm Nannie went into surgery. She broke the ball part of her hip and is getting it replaced with a stainless steel one. The surgery should be 2-3 hours. Also the cat scan came back fine and so her head and neck just hurt from the fall, but ar not injured

UPDATE: 8:45pm Nannie came out of surgery and everything went just as planned. She will be in the hospital for another week, then moved to a rehab facility where she will stay for another couple of weeks. Her length of stay in rehab will depend on how she is doing with walking with either a cane or a walker.

Grease: You're the one that I want!

Well, I think you all know about this by now, but if not, I went to a taping of the Grease show and we were on camera. I put a link in the link box, but I don't really know what that does, so if you go to nbc.com/grease and watch the Greased Lightning video on there, you can see me at the end of the song in a close up. You can also see Emily behind me. It was a lot of fun, and as soon as we got back from the taping, we signed up for more tickets, so hopefully we will be able to go again. Maybe when Brittany and Mom are down here. Then, they can go too. Cool! Well, I will be home in a couple of weeks, so I will see you all then!
