For our anniversary, Brittany and I went to Shu, a restaurant in Belfast, and then for dessert to a coffee shop called roast.

I also surprised Brittany with flowers delivered to her work. She was suitably embarrassed.

When we were at the restaurant, a guy came in around 7 with a huge bouquet of 2 dozen red roses and asked the staff to hide them somewhere until he came in later with his girlfriend for their reservations at 8. He also had a bottle of champagne ordered that was brought to the table right after they sat down when they came in. I was convinced they were getting engaged, but since I couldn't see them from where I was sitting, I had Andrew give me a running commentary. I've never seen anyone get engaged before, so I was kinda excited.
And apparently I wasn't the only one waiting for it because we spoke to the waitress and she told us what a few of the other couples in the restaurant were saying too. It was really really funny. Unfortunately we left before anything happened but it was still kind of exciting.
